Title: Crossover controllers
Post by: siemer on December 23, 2008, 12:10:43 PM
In the absence of screw holes, what's the best way to anchor those black crossover controller switches to the train board?  Super glue?

I probably wouldn't be gluing them down...for a couple of reasons...servicing or redesigning the control panel come to mind.
Don't have one to look at, but I would probably be drilling a couple of holes on diagonally opposite cormers and mounting with #4 screws...I do this with alll of my DCC boards and components..
You just need to check twice before drilling so yhou don't damage or short anything...

Howard

The Bachmann EZ track book has a verry good idea. Attach them using double sided velcro. That way they will stick but can be easily removed if needed.

Thanks.  But then again, why doesn't Bachmann make them with a couple of screw holes?  Seems pretty basic to me.
