Title: Hayes Bumpers Product Code: 44591
Post by: aamuller@nycap.rr.com on February 18, 2009, 09:08:30 AM
Does Bachmann make a Hayes Bumpers Product Code: 44591 that has a Power Terminal in the back end.

This would help wiring yards so that power can be removed while not in use.

Use Terminal track clips and place them anywhere in the siding with a SPST
switch and you can turnoff the power. Available at all Model train shops for 2 bucks. All you need is one clip per siding and one insulated joiner.

Atlas makes a terminal rail joiner - a rail joiner with a piece of wire already soldered on.

There is usually enough rail projecting past the bumper that no connector is neede . Just solder to the end of the rails.
