Title: Electrical Connectors for the tender to engine wiring
Post by: reroddewig on March 23, 2007, 10:48:58 PM
Has anyone found a supplier for the connectors that Bachman uses on the tenders and engines?  I have some Bachman tenders that I would like to use with non-Bachman engines but I need to find the mating connectors.
I had contacted the factory but they could not offer any help.

Thanks in advance.

Excellent Idea.

There are some nice sockets available from a DCC supplier;and that act piggy-back as plugs. I'm sure someone will use these for the job - with the wiring going straight through the line of the plug/socket. Make your own closures with hard setting compound.

good idea maybe they could make some for mantuas and oldies like that. Someone has to make back up stuff to keep the oldies but goodies running.

All the old MAntua's , Varney's etc only had one wire so a connector really isn't an issue with them unles you run DCC.
