Then why can you order stuff directly from the website? ;)
And Unfortuatley Andy it is NOT sold as a pack. And all together the two decoders & the engine would cost about 435 us dollars or *enters some values into google* or about 504 canadian dollars.
thanks for that jake do you have item nimbers?
this is gr8 thanks ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :D :D :)
On bachmann the J class engine is item no. 82122(http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/catalog/?function=detail&id=133)
and on tony's trains the two tsunami's are item no. 826103

Oh i just found a J-Class engine on micromark, sound equipped! Cheaper than the engine itself's retail price! http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares.asp?MerchantID=RET01229&Action=Catalog&Type=Product&ID=83798 Note that the prices are in american, not canadian dollars.
So that brings the price down to about $290 American or $334.37 Canadian. Note that you are on your own with the shipping cost, here is the currency calculator I used just to help you with that: http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html#
When spending several hundred dollars on model railroad equipment, it is ALWAYS cheaper to purchase if from the US of A than it is to purchase the same equipment in Canada.
Always, everytime, without fail.
However, it's only worth while if you are spending around the US$200 mark.
Even with postage (USPS, NEVER a courier) and the Canada Post tax that they call a "Handling Fee", the cost is always, everytime, without fail, cheaper than going to your LHS.
