I had a micro switch go bad and it made one of my EZ-Track remote turnouts remain powered for an unusually long time
I replaced the micro switch however the turnout seems to have burnt out
makes noise but won't switch.
Does anyone know if they make replacements for the turnout switches or do I need to replace the entire turnout?
You could phone the service department, explain your problem, and see if they can help. But don't be surprised if a new turnout is the only answer.
Have you considered using simple capacitor discharge machines to prevent this problem in the future?
Yes I have set up a failsafe for my switches now that only allows a .5 second pulse works perfect
