Are any more of the Proto 2000 kits being made other than the usual stock care, gondola, tank cars & 50' boxcars? Or has all production ended? :)
Yeah they are, they recently came out with a very nice ps2-cd high side covered hopper kit. I had to get a few
Oh yeah, those hoppers. I saw them at this hobby show in Alsip, IL called 'Hands to Work Railroading'. They're a licensed Athearn dealer, and they had two Proto 2000 PS2-CD undec. hoppers. I wanted to buy one really bad, but now I can- I have $$. ;D

Keep a close eye, you might see some. For a good listing, subscribe to Walthers' 'Walthers Flyer'. It's free and has a lot of Walthers cars, some kits. I think I saw a Proto 2000 kit in one of the newer issues.
A little awkward for a Bachmann board, but I guess it wasn't too far off, maybe... :-\
