Title: my mining diorama
Post by: altterrain on March 29, 2009, 05:51:39 PM
Here are a few daylight pics of my mining diorama I brought up to ECLSTS.
Its a dual gauge 1/24 scale with a 42 inch gauge ore train (featuring my Bachmann bashed Dunkirk and modified ore cars) and a 15 inch mine tram. The mine tram ran in and out of the tunnel automatically on a 30 second cycle.

Brian,
Great job! It was also nice to finally meet you at the show. How did you place in the contest?  The Dunkirk looks great in person

Thanks Paul. I'll just say the judges were in a more cluttered and dirty mood.

Alt'

Fine lookin'  diorama  !   Pics are definitely better out in natural light, than the ones taken in the hall, that I saw on various forums !
