Title: White Pass Annie (ex 90047) DCC conversion
Post by: steinz on April 23, 2009, 07:18:39 AM
Can you please recommend a suitable decoder to install into an "Annie" ?

I have an ESU LokPilot XL v3 which I could use, BUT ...

...... I don't know if a 3.0 amp decoder is powerful enough for this loco ??

Any help/assistance really appreciated !!!  :-)

Thank-you

I am using R/C in my Big Hauler . That company recomended thier 2AMP device. Haven't had any trouble with the 2amp. George Schreyer's large scale web page has a list of loco's He tested under various conditions and the current they draw. This is a very useful web site with a wealth of info.
