Like lets say Strasbourg R. R. is your favorite day out with Thomas or like mine, the cuyahoga valley scenic railroad, or even your own, etc. then buy the coaches or make them your self and have your layout a day out with Thomas event! ;D

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh. If I did a Day Out with Tomas I would deffinately do the Strasburg RR. Only because I live in PA and I've been there. Plus it's where thy filmed the 10 years of Thomas DOWT scenes.

Hmmmm, don't see any copy wright problems... but I really don't want to sound for sure though. I Guess as long as you give credit to Hit... I really don't know :(. If i were Hit, I would say as long as you don't make a profit, it'll be legal. If it does then ask for permission. I really don't know what to tell you but i don't see any problem. I am just going to use my 4 old Santa Fe coaches till i get some coaches to C.V.S.R. paint. I am going to base it off this year's day out with Thomas. Here's some pics. :) http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=284024&nseq=2 http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=284026&nseq=1. I videoed the event for fun and to help for the project.Hope you enjoy!!! ;) ;) ;) P.S. Looking at this being expensive due to the power car(old army kitchen. learn this on C.V.S.R.com.) it's behind the B&O unit.

Ask 9911A E5, he's the one doing a museum, and we were talking about that a few months back.  :P At first, I though you were going to ask about IRM's real Day Out with Thomas thing, but hey, I'll ask him. He does have about $200.00 cash, but he's always saving it up for that one big purchase. I don't think he'll consider it yet. I have to try to get that little bugger more active on this forum. ;D

Cheers,
Joshua

Oh yeah, I would do it, but I'm not sure N&W had Thomas... ;)

I probably will buy the diesel and Thomas By August :P  The site is under construction so if worse comes to worse then i will have to E-mail Them :(. I want this to be as close as possible to the 2009 C.V.S.R. event as possible. So The B&O will be #800. What are your thoughts?

Well i might not get Annie and Clarabelle with Thomas on the spot. I will hopefully get the Dcc Baltimore and Ohio F7A with Thomas but Thomas will come first if it will be one at a time. :)

No, no, no... Not the 8,500 turbine, this one:

http://en.wikivisual.com/images/2/21/Turbine68.jpg

I guess the 8,500hp one could work, just one thing, do we have anymore 8,500hp turbine motors?

As for Gordon, I think the Pimped RDC will work just fine... 8)
Too bad about the fuel economy though...

As for Emily, a EMD GP40-3 will suit her just fine. 8)

It was not American, who really cares, as long as its fun ;D. To be honest, i used to look up this kind of stuff for fun. Look up many kinds of things, Class, country, road name, type of line,Etc. with trains, locos, or locomotives. I find a lot of things that blew my mind. this was one of them. I knew this would come in handy but never knew what for. Strange things happen you know? so glad you like :)

Let's make Spencer a Class 390. :D

Sorry to anyone if we're spamming, but we're just starting a little game... Thread's pretty much over in terms of discussing a Day out with Thomas event unless anyone else wants to play or add anything to the topic.

to add on.... The whole idea of the game is to turn the engine into the opposite. Steam into diesel, diesel to steam. So far we've done TV series and hopefully book too. If you want to talk about the day out with Thomas then i will not ignore that. :) (wait, i never ignore stuff...) I know this belongs on the everything Thomas topic but who cares, it is here and will hopefully stay.

HAPPY 4th of JULY!

BEREA was SLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!! I got to see a 4 BNSF with a UP train(regular paint scheme). In the total of 1 hour(i ate lunch for half hour) that was the only thing! It was boomin last week and when i went to my mom's work buddy's party yesterday, that line was boomin! They need to give those turtles some nitrous! :o I might go watch fireworks. It is not the same to me. :( I used to go to a Giant eagle parking lot and trains would pass. Lakewood park is crowded all the time.
Good idea! It is a good sized match.
