Will the hand car work with the auto reversing track system? OK for outdoor use (both reversing track and hand car)?
The older (yellow) one will probably do better than the newer (gray ) one as the yellow one picks up power from the trailer car as well as the pump car--and outdoors you need all the power pickups you can get. Hey, B'man--how about suggesting tp the Powers that Be that when the handcar is re-tooled, it be set up to run on a battery. It should hold an AA for sure, possibly a C. The battery could go under the trailer car. Put a small reverse switch under the edge of the car body. gj
