Simply go to the Williams page at the top of the page and look under diesels under the traditional folder within.

go to products on the left, then williams by bachmann, then traditional line, then click diesels, then look for BL2

hi, what i meant was i cant find it for purchase.  i know what it looks like from the magazine.  but i cant find it on ebay and the local hobby shop doesnt have it.  they would order it but charge me top dollar.  not in this economy.  going to a train show in aug.  maybe i will get lucky and someone will have it.

If you can't find it, simply purchase it from the manufacture, Bachmann. Though, it is MSRP. Unfortunately, since you can't find it, there's no other choice.

Click for Link to Bachmann Williams BL-2 Demonstrator (http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/products.php?act=viewProd&productId=2360)

Good luck, looks like a beauty, too bad it's not HO scale. I really love BL-2s too, not to mention Demonstrator units! :)

yea i really dont want to pay msrp for anything.  i am brand new to this hobby but i have been in the card hobby for years.  One thing i learned is never ever pay msrp.   Your bankroll for your hobby wont go that far if you do.

but dang thats a quality bachmann demonstrator.

Don - I checked Toy Train Heaven and they have a Williams BL-2 in demonstrator colors (among others) for $155.96. The Toy Train website is:

http://www.toytrainheaven.com/.sc/ms/cat/O%20Bachmann--Williams%20Deisel%20Loco/2 (http://www.toytrainheaven.com/.sc/ms/cat/O%20Bachmann--Williams%20Deisel%20Loco/2)

I hope this is of assistance. All my dealings with Toy Train Heaven have been good and they sell quality products.

one question ray,  is 155 a good price.  i see the lionel flyer that retails for 229 and sellling for 100.  thats over 50% off.  this would be around 20% off.  please dont give me the answer if you like it get.  i am on a strict budget with this economy right now.   thanks ray

i thought the one guys said it was 130.  what happened to that

Perhaps a typo, noticed, then edited to match what was intended.

But GUESS WHAT? Sadly, www.modeltrainstuff.com doesn't have your demonstrator unit. They do, however, carry a couple other BL-2 units:
http://www.modeltrainstuff.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=BL-2

You know where it says "Click for a special price", click that. It'll add the product to your cart, for only $139.99!

Maybe that's where the $130 came from, but since it's not the demonstrator unit, someone removed it.

I know how you feel, I'm a sucker for demonstrator units too, and BL-2s as well. It was a double combo attack to see a demonstrator BL-2, I do hope Bachmann has plans of introducing it into the Spectrum line for HO scale.
