Title: A Timeless Lesson.
Post by: Santa Fe buff on July 27, 2009, 04:01:21 PM
I found this footage when looking at these DVDs my uncle gave me. It happened back then, it's happening today.

Bob,
I'm going to upload it to Photobucket so you can view it.

thanks for posting that video. while i never really got to see the reading, those types of locomotives are old friends. no matter how many times you see them in a museum, or hauling tourists, it just isn't the same as seeing them on the road, with several in consist, doing what they were intended to do......

Thank you. I have a few hours of footage like that in color from the steam ages to the transition years. I'm thinking of making a tribute to the Reading. One dedicated tribute is obviously overdue. Sadly, my computer likes to kill power and shut off instantly when something goes amiss with publishing movies. I'll try to get this one out, but my computer might just kick the bucket again... :)
