General Discussion / HO trains

I am new and not sure how to do this, so please excuse my ignoance.
I have 2  4-8-4 older northern engines #482 ,seams that the 8 drive  wheels slip and become out of sequence and bind.I understand there
is a update .Bachmann said send it in with the original reciept and they
will repair it or replace it,however I am not the original owner and cant
pruduce a  reciept .If any has had this problem please acknowledge
this problem ,Bigjoe1028)
