Just a guess...........

M+, M- are motor positive and negative.

RR.....Right Rail pickup

LR......Left Rail Pickup

SMK......Smoke Unit ( if equipped)

HL........Head Lamp ground

H+......Head Lamp positive

BL.....Back Lamp ground

B+.....Back Lamp positive

S+.....speaker positive

S-.......speaker negative

V+........possibly an accessory 12V positive source.

Again, just an educated guess.

Sid
A very good guess Sir! Soundtraxx replied to my email and confirmed almost all of your "guess", they rated the V+ at 14 rather than 12v, but who's arguing over 2v? Thanks again for your reply, I can now fit the chip without blowing it up!

Thanks for the quick response Sid, That's what I would GUESS too, but at the risk of frying the chip, I'm still hopeful that someone will be able to say 100% if we are right!

I have a sound board from an ALCO mogul, with eco sound, and am confused by the markings on the 12 connectors! Can anyone tell me what they refer to?
M+
M- I assume are the motor connections,
RR
LR
SMK
HL
H+
BL
+B
S+
S-
V+
They are the coppered connectors with the rubber plugs over them, to hold the wires in. It was removed from the mogul as the owner found the sound annoying when used on his DC layout, he now wants me to install it in another loco for him to run on our club DCC layout.
Any help would be appreciated!
