;D ;D ;D ;D I am the Proud owner of two identical W&L.E. 2-6-6-2's (N Scale) and I have a question for the knowlegeable out there....
What are the lubrication needs of these engines....and if so Where.?????
One is about 2 weeks old and the other is brand new today.....The Brand new one is a little noisier than the older one....???? any suggestions....
Also what is the normal break in time for these "Giants"....Havin a ball, in my "Fantasy Island" Empire....( Boulder Junction ) New York, circa 1940's....on the New York, Canadian border.....A nice quiet lumber town... The Giants are going to pull an 18 car log train...!!!! Ahhh to be a kid again....who says you have to grow up......I just retired and I am having more fun then when I had my first Lionel set back in the fifties. Would love any suggestions on these subjects...Thanks.....Trainman :) :) :) :)

Hi Guys....It's "Trainman" back.....Thank you for all your input.....I just purchased another Bachman 2-6-6-2...and I am scratch building a log train on flats....I am working on 9 to 12 cars...and they are coming out pretty nice.....I am anticipating my 2-6-6-2s pulling this train......The cars are as I said Scratch built...and the "lumber" is real. From as bush on my front lawn....really neat....it looks just like the real thing, especially once I weather them.....Love the site ....keep the comments coming......Good luck to all, Happy Railroading...and oh yeah....Merry Christmas , and Happy Holidays to all......Trainman

Franz......WOW...Thank you for that EXCELLENT & FAST response.....That web site is Great to say the least.......I am thrilled with my engines....They run fine with no upgrades (all flat)...and they only run over Peco switches....I had a small problem with Atlas switches so they are gone.....Thank you so much for your info.........I am having a ball with my "Fantasy Island" Empire........This site is great.......Thank you again..(Trainman)
