It's the 90 minute IPA. I just got the 2007 large scale cars from Trainworld. The East Broad Top boxcar 93330 is shown in the 2008 catalog in caboose red but the two I got were boxcar red. They aren't listed on their web site but they are all in stock.

How about the Indy as a 4-4-0?

Hi:

Danny is right, 1/24 scale works out to 42" gauge. I live in south-central Pennsylvania between the EAST Broad Top RR and the Tuscarora Valley and the Newport & Sherman's Valley Railroads which are/were 36" gauge. In Mifflin county where I live, there were several logging railroads that were 42" gauge, a common quarry gauge. They must have started with used 42" equipment. My Juniata Valley Railway is 1/24 so 1/22.5 equipment looks fine. Also, at 1/24 scale, buildings are about 10% smaller the 1/22 and 20% smaller than 1/20.3. This helps with an indoor layout like mine.

Enjoy your new hobby!

Every now and then a Dillard's Christmas trolley shows up on ebay. It's the Bachmann trolley with auto reverse and plays about 14 Christmas tunes. $50 to $80 dollars seems to be the going price. It has a wall pack and a fixed speed. It comes with Bachmann track so you can make a longer run if you want. Mine works very well.

Hi Bill:

There's more on E-Bay with pictures they took of the set still on the skid at Sam's Club. I still can't see the couplers good but I'll bet they are hook + loop.

And as I've said before, how about a class A Climax.

I'll buy one and stick it under the layout. Yes, it's bad but after seeing what the Lionel pink girls set from the 50's is selling for, it may be the same in the future.

Hi Bill:

Old age strikes again. I said Bill instead of Joe. I try to get you my data soon. I got the 1997 OSH box car sometime ago and found it was a different color than the 1992 one.
