The new 1:20.3 C-19 is being released without sound. It is also DCC ready, not DCC equipped. That means it is ready for you to install your choice of DCC decoder, with or without sound. 

The Thomas Snowplow (Item No. 92101) also works with James and Percy.

You should remove ALL items that were not originally included with your Bachmann locomotive, including decoders, sound devices, and/or accessories, before you send it into the Bachmann Customer Service Department.

No. The Bachmann 5 amp power booster (Item No. 44910) may only be used in conjunction with a DCC controller system.

Yes. It is a good idea to clean your track regularly as dirt may build up on the rails.

No. In order to operate a locomotive on the Dynamis system, there must be a DCC decoder inside the locomotive.

If I have a defective Bachmann DCC locomotive, may I send the engine into Bachmann Customer Service and upgrade to a DCC sound locomotive?

No. Bachmann Customer Service cannot upgrade a customer from a DCC locomotive to a DCC sound locomotive.

Use the function 10 button on the DCC controller in order to turn the headlight on or off.

Yes. Your Bachmann DCC engine can run on a DC system, since it has a dual mode decoder. However, a DC engine can only be run on a DCC system that supports an analog address, like EZ Command. Our Dynamis does not support an analog address.
When an analog loco is not running it should be removed from the system.
