Could be this:
-Wire came loose
-Side Rod jammed
-His little copper contact(behind wheels) are ditry or bent away.

I can see it now, Diesel and Salty for 2009...   (if Diesel is announced)

Other than that, I could see Arry and Bert, Arthur, Molly, or Murdoch...

As for rolling stock, there isnt that much left except for: Boilster wagons, Toad, Dark Blue Trucks, Closed Van, Mink Van, or the Breakdown Train... 

I would like to see Trevor, Terrence, Lorry, Butch, Jack and Alfie though, take alongs just dont cut it to me... 

Ok so I am missing some pieces from Gordon's side rod crank.  Mr. B, what should I do?

I say give it a chance.  With CGI, it may not be original, but there are many more possibilities with it!  The cost of characters is not a problem anymore, so you could see engines you have missed!  Give it a chance guys...

Hey guys, I guess this is a suitable thread for faulty engines or other issues that have to do with the Thomas line...


I have a problem right now actually...  Gordon's side crank connecting to his main driving rod has come off and cannot be repaired and he also make a small grinding noise when at low speeds (only forwards).  What should I do?

What if they actually let off on Thomas' spotlight a tad and put more engines in the spotlight?  That would be cool.  Personally, I think Hank wont be as good as Gordon is... 
I can see the story now:
Thomas has to help Hank find buffers so he can feel really useful.

Well, Percy may have quit because of dirty pickups.  They are located behind the wheels.  Clean the track too.  That may help.

Well, on tone of these threads is a step by step for Henry which can be adapted for Thomas.   Use the assembly instructions that came with the engine.

There is an article on installing DCC in Henry and Thomas somewhere...

I can say this now though about future items...   We all know that the steam team is done so we got any exciting arrival to come.  It has got to be either a new engine or a engine we would never expect.  Harvey maybe?  Or then again...  Murdoch?  

Trust me Edward.  I learned to do that.  lol

We do not know but we will have to wait another year to see, or just see what this year brings for us besides Mavis, Salty and our long awaited Edward.  Bachmann did say there might be more, but we will have to wait and see what the year brings us.

Since we have two diesel engines coming to our railway families, a devious guy would be great to have a antagonist to our stories (err um layouts).
