Dear Karissa,
An oval of 18" EZ Track will be just what you need!
Fourteen feet is relatively long; you may need to run some power feeders from a single power pack.
Have fun!

Dear Al,
Sadly, Kalmbach has discontinued Garden Railways.
They do have an abbreviated version on trains.com
It's worth a look!

Dear Sammy,
Go on line and order a copy of Garden Trains Annual.  This will give you many ideas. Also try to find
a club in your neck of the woods.  Members are generally happy to offer tours of their railroads.
In what general area of the country do you live?
You're in for a great time!
Have fun!

Dear Stephen,
Many years ago Bachmann offered an HO Flying Scotsman. I doubt that the chassis were identical, but I don't know for sure.
Have fun!

Dear CL,
If you mean swapping shells, I'm sure you can do it, but some mods may be necessary.
If you try it, let us know how it comes out.
Good luck!

Dear Diz,
There are many small four-wheel powered units, including all you mentioned, from many manufactuers.
Our smallest is probably the speeder.
Have fun!

What locomotive do you have?
Soundtraxx might be a good place to start...
