In all the shays i worked on all I had to do is gently lift a little up on the cylinders and they pop off after I removed the screws

Large / Re: Thomas don' run

Chuck I don't think you will have a problem once you get one that runs. Longwood Gardens in Pa has had one running since Thanksgiving. It even was left running over night on the Christmas display a total of 24 hours straight and it is still running. Will be there until the 10th of this month.
So I would not worry about how long it will last

Bob I don't understand why you had to make such a comment. Are you trying to cause trouble?  people ask questions for a reason. If you had read all the questions asked about the subject maybe you would better understand why questions are asked. if you really wanted to know why so many questions were asked about the caboose maybe you should of asked the individual. This is the reason I very rarely ask questions on a public forum. Just think what a beginner is thinking about the comments you made.

Why would a dealer have an answer before Bachmann????????
If the question got answered then the questions would stop.

I agree.   I did not want to ask again because of the last comment made when I asked before. But  Bach man do you have a time table? The place I ordered mine from has been invoiced for them but has not recieved them yet
