bachmann amfleet cars can run on 22 inch and above . 24 inch radius and above is prefered for looks and proper running. the only cars that run on 18 inch curves are athearn shorty passenger cars-   hobo

N / Re: atlas flex rails, e-z track or kato unitrack

kato unitrak is the best and its easy to work with. track selection is limited so plan well. If you are like me i changed my track plan 20 times till I got it the way i wanted it. kato track allows you to do this. also atlas track is outstanding too with more variety     hobo

N / Re: Sticker shock pricing from "company A"

atlas locos are on par with kato locos,as an owner of both these locos are the best built and you get what you pay for. Iwould rate proto 2000 locos up there too. Bachmann locos have a long way to go to catch atlas and kato. If I had to go with one loco company it would be atlas -hands down      hobo

make sure the wheels on the tender are installed correctly or it will create a short and the loco wont run

these locos are far superior to anything bachmann makes in n scale. their quality is second to none compared to bachmann , and you dont too many quality control issues like bachmann does. anybody that thinks bachmann is better than kato is NUTS AND DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT N SCALE QUALITY
