We don't want Philip.

Maybe you don't   ;)

Always with the short condescending comments.

You take yourself a little too seriously Donald.  ::)

I have a feeling by the time they get to maybe only having one or two classic narrow gauge engines left, Duke will be back in the show. So he may have a shot by then. I hope so, he's my favorite narrow gauge engine.

That's what I've been wanting to see. The faces in use. I will for sure be getting them. I'm assuming those eyes were painted on by the modeler?

I doubt they  would've bothered to make sound files for engines they will never make in large scale if they werent at least considering it. Maybe they  want to develop a cheaper module for Thomas trains so the price won't be that expensive.

Not to sound rude, but I'm 99.9% sure this post violates the forums Code of Conduct.  It clearly states (and I quote),

QuoteSoliciting of products, services, or membership to organizations is not allowed. (Basically anything that is asking for payment from a forum member).  There are plenty of auction sites, and classified sites on the internet that are specially designed for this purpose, please use them. Any posts of this nature will be deleted as soon as they are discovered. Posts directing forum users such as "Check out my train for sale on ...." will also be deleted.

Incase you haven't already, I recommend reading the fourms Code of Conduct which can be found at the link below.  Seeing as you are new to the forum and mistakes do happen, this isn't a big deal.  Just make sure you read and understand things clearly and ask an admin if you're not sure about something.  I'm sure they'd be glad to help.

Asking for "soliciting" payment and posting a link to a shop site for model parts and accessories are two different things my friend. Just because he's making the product doesn't change that. People post links to eBay auctions and the like all the time. You are relatively new to this forum too. Don't forget that, while I'm sure you "don't meant to be rude." A lot of your posts, in this and other circumstances come across as just that.

Here's the mantra to stick to on here. If it's a problem that's not causing massive disruption and annoyance on the forum. Let the admins deal with it. It's cleaner.

In the almost ten years I've been here, I've never seen someone actually quote the code of conduct  ::)

He was just stating his thoughts on the likelyhooe of your choices. Not ripping apart your opinion. It's called discussion.

Thomas & Friends / Re: Journey Beyond Sodor thread

Thomas fans seem to really like to complain. I thought this special was wonderful. I honestly didn't mind them bouncing around. It added more personality to them, and it wasn't too ridiculous, they only used it a lot in the songs. Which I'm ok with.

The story was great, had great messages. The script was clever and funny, and the songs were actually good. I loved the role the trucks played and the fact that the plots are becoming more varied.

It's honestly the most I've enjoyed a Thomas film since Magic Railroad.

And not for nothing, do you remember this time back in 2010, 2011?

We would have killed for something like this. I for one have no problem accepting a few cartoony elements if the story and characters continue to move in the direction they seem to be.

Pick your battles folks. And know which ones are solely your egos.... ::)

There are many online stores that sell Bachman Thomas. Other than eBay. Amazon etc. and cheaper too. You don't have to buy straight from Bachmann. Smarter not to actually.

He was simply replying in more detail. No need to be sensitive about it.

In my opinion the only thing that's ruined this thread, and board in general, are the self-righteous babies who want to seem important by putting others down.  It's getting old.

Post away kids, don't worry about what these make shift moderators say.
There's a difference between posting legitimate thoughts that are on topic and inane wishlists that won't ever happen...not saying that OPs being referred to shouldn't be allowed to do this but obviously they're in the wrong thread. That's all I'll say on that.

That's where you said it. If you really want to quibble about the small difference between wish lists and predictions you're in the wrong place. Posting a wishlist here is not out of line. Look I've been on this forum a long time and Let's not pretend that post was anything else than a put down. This spreads negativity around the board for no reason at all. Is it really that big a deal? No. All it accomplishes is a short lived feeling of superiority followed by a slew of negativity.

Oh please bro. It's not up to you to decide what's legitimate. That post is not defendable. Please grow up or don't post.
