morning guys

guilford guy  scroll up a bit and click on to link to see the photos from anaheim    it was posted above

i know bachmanns track record has been excellent as far as
prototypes go

i really taught the bi level commuter push pull cars
that the bachmann announced were the C3s that  the L.I.R..R
uses in service    can win em all

still waiting for an FL9        john t  brooklyn ny

ive seen the photos of the new commuter car

im disappointed this is not an american car
but there chinese double decker
why is bachmann trying to push it off as an
push pull commuter car  and to show it as a
so called M.T.A. name.

this is about prototypical as tycos GG1 of the 1980s

not happy  john t  brooklyn ny

wow 1960

nothing wrong with giving our age away

use to go to polks on 32nd street
and madison hardware on 23rd st

woody i remeber the paints for a dime

a frankfurter for 15 cents

and the subway and bus for 15 cents

H.O. was starting to boom

also saw john kennedy pass on the lower east side
during his 1960 campaign

damm this forum is bringing back great memories

hi ary 13

first  where did you purchase the trains from
if it was a hobby store you should ask them
questions about trains

i worked for a large train store here in
brooklyn for many years and when a customer brought a lot of stuff
i offered my assistance to help them out

when you invest or just buy in any hobby
allways get an understanding about what your
getting into

in this case the H.O. train market is really big
ive been at this for over 40 years
and there is allways something to learn

dont be affraid to ask questions to the
guys in the forum  there a great bunch
and a fellow modelers we help each other out

im not familar with these old air raid sirens
were these used for air raid warnings

here in n.y.c. i remember these large air raid sirens on top of
tall buildings they were silver and gray on steel frame bases

this could be a nice scatch building project

now for the siren sound ??????
