Everyone
Well I finished the model.  It took 6 weeks of evenings and a lot of work. Great instructions though it was a little harder than I thought. It does it look beautiful!

Hope the weather is fine up there in Alaska.  I use the LOCTITE Super Glue I went to the website and they call it a CA type of Adhesive.  Which is an abbreviation for Cyanoacrylate, the chemical name for super glue.  I like using it for its pinpoint accuracy I like that it sets quickly and I can use it on many different surfaces.

To Flyer: Sorry for kind off taking over the post. But it has been a great source of information.

Looks like we are both up early.

I use for my plastic and and wood kits a type of Super glue called "Loctite" Super Glue. I use different varieties of them from the fast setting, to the 5 minute set and the one for wood.  My favorite is Control gel. I get it at Lowes or Home Depot it is about 3 buck  and I usually use one .14oz per model.  They are great.  But I have to be carefull not to get it on my hand as they stick together and even worse if I have any on the hand and then touch the model.  Man then I have a finger print.

I occasionally use "Plastruct" from time to time.

I guess I was using an "ACC" glue all along.

PS what does Pdletbridge stand for?  Peddle Bridge?

Thanks for the update. I love the layout and the UP Passenger cars.
I may have missed it but what size is the lay out?

OK I give up. What is ACC. I have heard it and cannot figure out what type of adhesive it is.

What did you get.  I am looking at one too #3605 I found it for $140(Yes at the Favorite spot).  I was thinking of then eventually upgrade to the Pro #3608 for $240.  But the end price would be $380.  Now that puts it close to the DIGITRAX SUPER XTRA CHIEF STARTER SET 5 amp + PS at $399. Y es one is wireless and the other is wired.  But it is still close and I could do wireless one day with the Digitrax plus the Digitrax can run to trains independently

However, I can do it in steps.

Thank you too. I was a little embarrassed to admit at first we do still run the trains for fun as for fear of being scolded.  But admittedly we still do.  It keeps the son happy with his friends and keeps me happy so I can work on the trains on the trains board.

To the Bach Man
Thank You.  We have a new table built it is "U" shaped.  But we have extra track and my son love to make little "carpet layouts" with his friends.  Oh of course he can only use certain engines and cars!

Not that we do this anymore,  but when my 6yr old son got his 1st train set he ran it on the carpet.  The reason why I allowed him to do it was that we used the Bachmann EZ Track. If there a difference.  I though that it would be okay.

I would love an you opinion on that.

PS tender1 Thanks for letting borrow your post to ask this question.

Very interesting. I do not like train or any other type other motorized vehicle accidents, but they were very interesting. Make you wonder what was happening before these accident happened.

Great find!  I have a lot of older stuff like Gondolas and Box cars from the 70's and got some new Bachmann's ones and I swear the are from the same mold!
