Since I am relatively unfamiliar with the D&S set, I would like to ask some questions. Does this set have a 5th Generation 4-6-0 and a newer chassis? Also, does it have improved chuffing? And, does it smoke a lot? I am entering the Large Scale hobby and anticipate my purchase. I might get add-ons to the set if I like it enough. Thanks in advance for answering these questions.

I have a Royal Blue 4-6-0, it looks like a 3rd Generation locomotive to me. It was great but it died because I didn't know what I was doing and its motor fried.

I found out that Thomas is based on a real locomotive that was in Britain. It was an E2 Extended Tank 0-6-0T, which none of them survive. I like the Large Scale Thomas, but I don't want one.

I was wondering if they are safe to order from and is it worth it especially when the D&S Freight Set is only $187.32? What about eHobbies? Are they good? because they offer free shipping on items over $99 and the only problem is the D&S set is out of stock at their store.

I have a relevant question I would like to have answered. Is Wholesale Trains a safe and reliable store to purchase Bachmann G scale from? And, is their service good? (Administrators, feel free to move this to the appropriate area if needed)
