Thomas items in each scale.

woah! does that mean the skarloey railway might be made?

No. I think you may have misinterpreted it. If they go into N-Scale, they will most likely make the standard gauge line of Thomas engines. That is what there main focus is on. I think it will be a while before the narrow gauge engines are even considered. ;)

Yah hi, no offence but what does price conversions have to do with THOMAS IDEAS FOR 2011!?

The only reason we were talking of price conversions was because thomasforever1's lack of ability to convert a dollar to a pound. He made a list of items for Bachmann to make and they were mostly of the Hornby line. He said that he couldn't buy them in the UK because he couldn't convert the prices. That was his main fall back for not being able to purchase UK items.

Instead of me explaining this, you could have read the entire last page to get the same understanding.

I am currently interested in Duck, the different colors of branch line coaches, Diesel, Oliver some more covered vans, and a breakdown train.

well as u guys may or may not know i have my own character named emalina (emilys sister) and my "Steam Team" will include 1-8, 11, and 12, and 13 (obviously u shoyld know 1-8) and oliver for 11 (DUH!) and i feel that when emily became a main character she kinda took the number 12 and then of course emalina takes 13
so i will need 2 tidmouth sheds that gives me 10 stalls and 2 turntables (the turnable i will probaly use for my steamworks but thats a diff story ;)) and then i need 1 expansion pack to get the required 11  :) :) :)
One set of Tidmouth sheds can have a maximum of 12 stalls though

your point?  ???

his point is: why do you need to get two when you could just get add on stalls?

it would be cheaper to get 2 T. S. rather than buying 6 expansion packs and plus i get a bonus turntable  ;)

Two Tidmouth Sheds and turntables would be $350 with tax! :o One Tidmouth Sheds and a turntable with 6 add-ons would be $385. Wow. Both prices are terribly expensive. Good luck getting the funds for that project.

I'd rather get one with a turntable, one add-on and make my own shed that is basically a rectangle because it wouldn't need to go around a turntable.

Have fun with it.

well as u may not know perfect percy when hit bought tomy and changed it to trackmaster diesels face changed imennsly i used a tomy face for mine i would never and i mean NEVER use the trackmaster face if u look here;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVMAV2NXCe8 and skip to 4:35 that is the tomy face unforcunetly (i just know i spelled that wrong) i dont have a pic of the trackmaster one  :( but trust me the trackmaster one is horrible

Why did you bring up the Trackmaster Diesel? I don't think the face that he used was a Trackmaster face; correct me if I'm wrong. I was just comparing Jack's custom face to the Tomy face. :)

All you have to do is google a price converter  ::)

... And Bingo was his name-o. :P This constant complaining is quite childish. All you have to do is look up these things, such as a price converter.

Your groveling will also not result in price reductions on anything by the way. It is one thing to go to one store and get a price match with another, but for the prices to be lowered for the reason of a complaint, that is out of the question.

Who came up with the idea of Large Scale Thomas and Percy ?
??? ??? ??? ??? ???

This could be in the Everything Thomas Topic, or even better, the topic that the Bach-man made to inform us of the LS models. Good question, though. I say that it was only a matter of time before Thomas was in another scale.

When I first came here I was cut some slack. Now I see people telling new members that they have no clue what they are doing and they're getting blamed for it when they don't realize what they did wrong. I agree with SA here, let's be a little more courteous to new members, please :)

Did you not read the first post? He was referring to everyone and was giving the order to stop bringing threads back from the dead.

I also have to say that if a post is unnecessary in an old thread that is renewed, Bachmann can delete posts, hence the frequent posts deleting that has been happening.

You shouldn't have to make a new thread if your post relates to the thread, no matter the age of the thread or time of disuse that the thread has undergone.

Look up a price converter... Isn't it about 1.33 pounds are one dollar or something? Vice-versa? Completely different? ???
In pre-algebra 2 years ago I learned it was 1.5 pounds to 1 dollar. That may be out dated, but I'm not totally sure.

Close enough. With this information there should be no misunderstandings, thomasforever1.

Speaking of soldering: one of my wires came out of James. Is there a special kind of solder to use to put it back into place or should I melt the existing so it can dry up and hold the wiring? I see where it goes and all, so some inquiries would help.

Thanks

Diesels black side rods.. Hiss. :P
lol

and they are lookin good have u ever considered a tomy diesel face for diesel thats what i did, in my opinion it suits his majesty  ;)

I like his custom face miles more than Tomy's. If you smooth it out a bit in some spots, it would be perfect. Great job on everything.

hey im still all about the classics but come on, its not like we can force HiT to take off that extra bay for emily and also; i mean i dont nessicarily hate the CGI anymore, its kind've grown on me

OMG I CANT BELIEVE I JUST SAID I LIKE THE CGI! I NEVER THOUGHT THOSE WORDS WOULD COME OUT OF MY MOUTH!  :-X

But Emily could get put back in Knapford Sheds so Duck has a home. Does anyone realize that when Duck came along one of the six main engines was removed from the sheds in season 2? At times it was Thomas, others Percy, and others Edward.

As for buying Tidmouth Sheds: IMO, I would prefer a Walthers roundhouse. I miss the original Tidmouth sheds with the sooty coloring. The new one is so toy like from my perspective. I also don't use E-Z track on the layout, so the turntable and sheds are no-noes. I already have a Walthers Cornerstone 90' turntable and I can't wait to find its precise home, once I get my main yard muddled out. ::) :P

Good God guys.  ::)

Aren't the prices low enough already? In the UK they cost about £30 each! That's pee water for a model engine!

This is pathetic.

The Bach-man won't lower prices for you, especially during a recession

Thank you: Don't models outside of Thomas and Friends cost about 100 U.S. dollars or more (unless they are terrible). (I think the prices are alright, but they should be proportional to each other (ie. Mavis being less than Edward and the China Clay twins being less or about the same as Mavis), but these are just my 2 cents.

I'd also like to add that this should either be in the Everything Thomas Topic or MAYBE the wishlist thread (maybe not).

I agree the Everything Thomas Topic is the place to have this.

I could care less about Kevin. I just wish that the personalities wouldn't be so stupid/dumbed-down on the other engines.

This isn't really a problem. When someone posts in a thread within the Thomas board, it should be of the following:

a) Topic Relating

b) Constructive in some way, shape, or form

PerfectPercy
True, but if it is that important, then just make a new thread

Then the thread count goes up. Same problem in the end.

I'm not saying it was silly in the beginning, but with your question answered several pages ago, can you make up a good reason for still using it? Don't be defensive; you only say my posts are "stupid" because of this. Stop and think, what is this thread still usable for with your question (being the reason for the thread) answered?
