Ok let your friend know that you take 3\4 of an inch off the screw mount to lower it down and here is a better view of the PCC car.

yeah i also have steamers amungest other things.  i'll have a break down picture of it and the mount and tell you exsactly how much to take off. Once i get my camera from work most likely tomorrow.

I use a dremel too with cuting disks and drill attachments.

yes i have pictures of the job i did i'll get them up as soon as i get my camera i lift it at work.

thank you for the tip i'll be sure to use i was looking for a better way to not get paint one the windows. I'll most like knock out the windows due to the paint plus the shadows of the people tp me make it look toyish.

If you cut the screw mount just a little you can bring them down to look a lot better i did it to two of my 32 PCC i own and it works good plus having metal trolley poles help too

hmmmm not sure but, maybe the 50s because you caould still see steam and diesels work side by side in some places and the GG-1s going down the tracks plus street cars were still a good way to get around the PCC and Piter Wits. I maybe 25 years old but, i would like to see this era.
