Supposedly Peter Sam is supposed to be released at the end of the year, hoping that's true.

The issue is that they'll also use the geisel ejector funnel, which ET hasn't had on itself in years.

I'd prefer if they used the prototype basis for the brake vans like in the books, it'll make it easier tbh.

Hoping we get Sir Handel announced as well as some new narrow gauge rolling stock, also I see Ryan, Sonny, or Samson possibly happening, and maybe one or two older characters that would only get announced due to the anniversary, like Boco, Duke, Stepney, or Murdoch.

Going back on topic, I'm thinking probably at Toy Fair we will likely probably have updates on the N scale range by then and possibly an update on the rolling stock announcements from the NMRA. 

That's probably when they'll have at least some update on the rolling stock for the n scale stuff, plus a possible announcement of James.

............OKAY I never said it was impossible, I have multiple times said either, it's higjly unlikely, or I don't think it'll happen, that is my opinion on the matter, nowhere did I said I never wanted it to happen, nor that it is impossible, heck I'd love for not only Stepney to hallen, but also Duke and Boco, but Mattel will allow only loco characters that are in the current seasons to be made. Spiteful Brakevan was possible due to it just being the NWR style brakevan with a face on it. Even ghough Stepeney is popular, Mattel won't let Bachmann release a model of Stepney since he is not part of the current seasons, and Ryan would be released next, especially since he works with Daisy on the Harwick branch in the new seasons.

I still doubt Mattel would let Bachmann do something like that, they care about money more than the fans.

Bradford may show up, hoping for Sir Handel or Duncan next for their official narrow gauge loco release and possibly a brake van for them.

Team Ryan because MATTEL WILL NOT LET BACHMANN MAKE ANY CHARACTERS THAT ARE NOT IN THE CURRENT SEASEASONS.

Trever will happen but until Boco is in the CGI he will not be modelled cause Mattel has it that only cgi series characters are allowed to be made.

If they were to get cancelled like the large scale Diesel did, they would be absent from the catalog and Bachmann's web store.  

I'm willing to bet that the coaches are going to be resembling the Talyllyn coach 4 tooling with the red coach basically being just that and the blue one painted in model era colors.

I looked on the Bachmann trains web site and there was no picture of the coaches[not even the model series or cgi]but a picture of the red Rosie,we can only wait and see.

The bachmamn website won't have a produxt on there until it is released, which the red rosie model is already available since it's just a repaint of the original rosie model.

But in all seriousness, I do like seeing these positive responses as I feel that Daisy and Peter Sam's announcements have really restored a lot of faith some fans may have lost over the years over some arguably lackluster choices we have seen in the past.  Even the rolling stock that got announced at the NMRA is a lot better than the wagons that got announced at the Toy Fair this year.  It's nice to see that Bachmann managed to surprise us just like I had hoped like I mentioned earlier.  Something I will happily eat my own words with.

The Bachmann Daisy is going to make a very huge impact in sales for Bachmann, in the exact same way Donald and Douglas did as Hornby never produced a model of her prior before dropping the license.  So clearly there is that extra bit of collectors value that's following her moreso than Duck and Oliver.  A lot of people even like her CG render a lot more than Oliver's too, so more power to Bachmann on that one.  There is no doubt that this is the model that I think everyone is excited for the most and I think that is because of how much people wanted this character and how much of a surprise it was when she got announced yesterday.

Peter Sam seems to be making quite the positive reaction as well.  I'm really glad that they went with him instead of Duncan or any of the newer Narrow gauge characters.  Of course now we all know that the consistent demand for the next narrow gauge engine is Sir Handel.  But after how Peter Sam just happened to get announced not too long after Rusty arrived at dealers two years since he was announced, I have a feeling the next engine announcement will be a while.  Nothing wrong with at least having hopes up for brake vans once the coaches get released in the meantime.

Either way, these "special announcements" really did do their justice and it certainly gives me some more hope for the future, all while making me anticipate these exciting new models as I'm sure it did for many others.  It goes without saying, Bachmann truly outdid themselves today in more ways than one.  Well done Bachmann.

Daisy got approved due to a mix of she is in the cgi series and was highly demanded, not just cause of the high demand from fans.
