Doneldon-I like streamlined and coaches like the daylight and I also really like high speed trains. Is the kato shinkansen worth the 37o dollar price and exprensive shipping from japan or should I stick to Piko ICE and bachmann acela?

OK thanks can you reccomend the best brand of HO passenger coaches? they dont really sell passenger coaches at my local hobby shop so I dont really know the quality of the different brands. I've been looking at athearn, bachmann, con cor, and IHC coaches.

I dont really care about the couplers I can easily modify them what I want to know is the size of the model pullmans compared to other ho coaches I am asking about the pullmans because those are the coaches that come in the train set that I was looking at

so woud a bachmann 2-6-2 be about the same size as a hornby castle class?

I saw a hornby oo scale starter set on ebay and did some research and learned that oo can run on ho track but I couldnt find out how big the hornby pullman cars and castle class locos are compared to something like an ho amfleet 1 and I dont want anything to big on my layout so are the hornby ones about the size of an ho scale train or bigger??

I am modeling present day los angeles so I would need to have a southwest chief a metrolink and some sort of amfleet consist. I already have my metrolink and getting the phase ivb superliners so I want to know what kind f amfleet trains run to or near LA and also which cars would you reccomend more bachmann amfleet 1 or walthers proto amfleet 1 I am looking fo something prototypically accurate but not to exprensive and cant find to much information about the bachmanns. I understand that do you live near the northeast corridor?? because I do and I also dont see any superliners but I am asking the superliner question to people who actually see superliners. phew how many times did I say superliner??

so amtrak doesnt use phase 4 for their amfleets anymore? ok i guess ill have to preorder the turbo expensive walthers proto ones and see how does turn out. Also I have no idea what the current superliner phase is so it would be nice if you helped me out on that   thanks for your answer

I know when I was looking for a train set I kept seeing phase ivb amfleet 1s everywhere but now theyre all gone so I guess Ill have to buy the extremely overpriced walthers proto cars when they come out in april

Please help I want to model an amtrak phase ivb consist and want to use bachmann coaches. I could only find the bachmann phase v(actually phase ivb) cafe on ebay but dont know where to buy coaches also pleasedont give links where the coach is out of stock reply as soon as possible
