What kind of track power is used for DCC, DC power supply or AC power supply (Used to br called transformers). Anybody?

This is a "ON BOARD" unit manufactured by bachman. Control system is MRC PRODIGY
EXPRESS/ADVANCE. I also have tried the "bare bones" BACHMAN "EZ COMMAND" That I
purchaced before the MRC do to lack of control functions of the EZ COMMAND. Cannot put
a address in unit even address 3. any suggestions???

Cannot program decoder with MRC controller - think it may have lost memory. Will not take address 3. Is there code to get memory back or by using CV - 29?
