I was told you can run a DC engine on the EZ Command DCC layout as long you keep the engine moving you should be fine! It's letting it sit too long is when you run the risk of frying the motor?

Can I run a concest of say 2 or 3  Analog DC engines using my DCC EZ Command controller?

Thank you guys!  I bought a 4X8 layout little over a year ago and was running DC using my old Bachmann power pack from a train set I bought back in 1989!  I unplug it after every  operation session. Then last summer I bought a used MRC power pack and that had an on off switch! I loved that about the MRC! Now I'm running Bachmann EZ Command DCC which I love! The only thing I wish it had was and on off switch! I saw one in a You Tube video that guy had in Europe I believe that had on off switch on the bottom of the EZ Command controller! I think I'm going to get a surge protector with on and off switch and mount it to my layout facia and plug my EZ Command into that!

I don't mean to ask a dumb question here! Should you unplug   your power cord from the wall outlet when not running your trains for long periods of time? Will the plug get hot and be a fire hazard like the old Bachmann  black box red control knob power packs sold in train sets 30 years ago?

I bought a 4x8 layout from guy off of craigslist last year! The track is HO Atlas Code 100! It's powered by Atlas Rail Joiner wires.  I just bought a Bachman DCC EZ Command! I was wondering does Bachman or any track manufacture make a HO Terminal re railer that accepts Bachman plugs, that is  not EZ track, but standard HO code 100 track?

Thank you ACY!  Looks like the  EZ track re railer ( i think that's what that pice of track is called)?  Has the same prongs as my non easy track re railer from the 90s!

I bought my Bachmann train set back in 1990 at COSTCO!  After not playing with my train in over 20 years I recently dug my set out of storage and set it up on my kitchen table! It still works great all these years later!   I want to buy some new Bachmann EZ track!  Will my old Power supply controller connect and work with the new EZ track?

What is the difference between the nickel sliver EZ track and the standard EZ track? Is it just the color or is nickel silver better quality? Will nickel silver work with non nickel sliver EZ track?  Thank you I am a newbie here!
