Would a short in the Truss Bridge disable to Control Center (such that the Control Center does not work at all) ? The Control Center shows no function at all. The Truss Bridge still gets flashing light when connected to an alternate power source (when removed from track array).

Train was running fine. Installed the Lighted Truss Bridge standard straight track into the arrangement and when we began to run the train again, the engine would "lurch" forward and stop in frequency with the flashing light on the Truss bridge....then the lights went out on the Control Center.
Removed the Truss and re-inserted standard straight track, with no success. The Control Center is not lighting up, not accepting 120v power, not doing anything (staying dark).
Any thoughts ? Did I burn up the Controller somehow ?
This is the Item #44901 Controller.

   I recently bought the lighted truss bridge for me HO scale Bachmann Train set (run via the EZ tracks and speed controller. I powered the light through a Light Hub and now my train will not run (I can't even power up the controller).
Did I foul up by powering the bridge from a source other than through the tracks (through the Speed Controller0 and burn something up ?
What is remedy to this problem ?

How do you connect the Station to power ?
Comes out of box with two exposed wire ends, but where do they connect to ?
