I enjoyed the Mid-year product announcements youTube video and looks like a lot of good things are coming in the future. In particular, I was happy to see the Siemens S70 Light Rail Vehicle offered in several roadnames, including DCC and sound in HO scale.
I would like to cast a very strong vote to see this same model produced in N scale in the future. I have been very happy with my fleet of Siemens Charger N scale locomotives, and have no doubt that if Bachmann produces this in N scale will be just as nice. There are virtually no modern era N scale streetcar/light rail vehicle products available and it would be great to see one produced.

I am enjoying my two Siemens N scale SC-44 locomotives and they run beautifully. Are there any plans afoot to offer this locomotive in the COASTER (Coast Express Rail, Southern California commuter Rail)? It would be great to see this new and colorful paint scheme offered, and it has already been offered on your HO-scale version.

Also, a separate topic with this locomotive: Is there any way to set up the decoder to respond to functions keys selected, instead of always having to go through the voice menus whenever I want to turn on/off auxiliary lights such as marker lights and Strobe lights?

Also, I'm looking forward to the N scale version of the Siemens Charger locomotives in the COASTER San Diego Commuter rail paint scheme and hope these are still planning to be released.

I am very interested in a sound version of the Siemens Amtrak ALC-42 and can find almost no information about it or when Bachmann might release it. Is it still a sure thing, and will it have all the wonderful lighting effects that the current N scale Siemens Charger has (lighted number boards and illuminated engine room etc?) A major competitor is already producing this locomotive and is taking reservations for sound-equipped versions which sell out very fast. Thanks for the information.
