HO / Re: EZ track layout

I don't mind Ez track, its well made and at my age now its so much easier then flex track and roadbed. Its also widely available and reasonably priced.
I'm building a new layout that is about 13x5 and right now I need it to be easy to build, wire and run trains.
Over the years I have many layouts using all the accepted methods of laying track but now is not the time and ez track will be sufficient on this next layout, it should be fun.

HO / EZ TRACK
May 27, 2025, 11:32:10 PM
I should be starting my new layout at the end of the summer and I have been testing the track systems and I have picked EZ track from Bachmann mainly because it widely available and from testing it I'm very impressed how nice it is. I checked out all the others but EZ track worked for me.
Am I making the right choice? Is it durable?

The reason I am using it that for me now I have built many layouts over the years but now at my age 78 I need easy and although I want a nice layout I can't do what I have done in the past. My layout will be 13x5 give or take and I'll be running some steam and modern diesels, prototypical and fantasy. The steam will be NYC Hudsons. my dad was a NYC steam engineer and he ran mostly the hudsons. Its going to be my last layout so I decided to honor my dad!!

Thanks for listening,

HO / Dc/dcc locomotives
May 27, 2025, 11:10:23 PM
Does Bachmann locomotives that are that are dcc run on dc also? And does the sound work also with restrictions also. Right now I only have a dc throttle and beings ill be getting dcc remotes later I do want to buy dcc equipped locomotives.

Sorry for being so confused on engines that have dc/dcc. I especially want to get one of newer Hudson's and didn't know which one it should be dc or dcc.
