I really hope Bachmann re-introduce Iron 'Arry and Iron Bert to the line. I would definitely buy it. I think they should consider some facial changes for the 2, so they do not look completely identical but they would be a welcome addition for me.  ;D

Quote from: DonnieV on June 15, 2025, 04:48:02 PMI have 2 questions 1. Is Bachman Duncan canceled forever 2. Is 2022 bachmann salty being put on hold?

I believe Doug Blaine confirmed it was cancelled in the interim, and hopefully the project is not completely dead, so there is a possibility it can get re-announced, this happened with Large Scale Diesel. So, for now yes, potential future re-announcement is possible and I'm hoping he does get announced again.

I think they are still working on him. I believe there was some tooling issues but still in the works.  :)

Hi there,

I would personally like to see the following below as part of the 2026 announcements.  :)

N Scale
- Edward
- Rosie
- Mavis
- Mail Trucks
- Troublesome Truck Variants

HO Scale
- Iron 'Arry (re-introduced)
- Iron Bert (re-introduced)
- Whiff
- Scruff
- Hiro

Narrow Gauge
- Luke
- Duncan (re-announced)
- Narrow Gauge Troublesome Trucks

I would absolutely love to see old classics like Stepney, Class 40, Murdoch and Duke however, understanding Bachmann's decision making process, they always like to (for the most part and currently) draw ideas from the CGI era. I do hope they get more creative freedom from Mattel and secure reasonable costs to produce classic characters in future however, for now, I believe CGI is the main focus.  :D
