Hi.When you get it all set up  please let me ( [email protected] ) know what you think of this dcc stuff.. I have a old soundtraxx system that has a radio controller.......a lot of guys I know say they would be happy with  a sound system  installed  that comes with its own controller for dc and then you could add the dcc on later. Why don,t all the dcc ads just tell you right up frount about all the extra stuff you still have to buy?...then I see upgrades and add ons for things that  just came out!.But before I get into dcc very deep I,m going to see how much a divorce cost........rod

 ???Could someone PLEASE tell me what do I need to do to run this new Bachmann 2 8 0 with dcc onboard on a dc layout? Do I just remove the decoader, and  put in the dummy plugs that came with it.....them plug in both sets of wires from the engine to the tender???

         I just purshed a new Bachmann 2 8 0 with dcc onboard. First off, for dc only should I remove the decoder and put the dummy plugs in ? Also is there a way to have sound on dc ( I know I have to install a speaker and buy the ez command controller, but what else do I do  ? also what speaker should I buy?........Sorry I,m new to most of this......Thanks rod.
