Can a DCC system accomplish the same task.  Maybe I get the E-Z command  DCC system.   Will this work for automatic auto reversing on a straight back and forth on my layout?   Thank you for any guidance!!!! 

Thank you Hunt.   I have the catalog and am familiar with what you showed the photo to.   Good luck finding it.   I have searched all over the internet and everyone is backordered with no news of when.   It has been backordered for 3+ months.   Maybe my questions was a bad one.   Where can I find this set?   ....or other auto reversing sets???   I saw they make an HO trolley set.   That is backordered too.

I was looking to buy a reversing system.   I already have the "On30 Street Car Set, Christmas" which is auto reversing.  does anyone know if they will be selling the stand alone ez track reversing system again?  Will they be coming out with another "auto reversing" system or set?

Guys,   thank you very much!!!   Very interesting.   I appreciate the education!   I guess I have a lot to learn.

I bought the Greenbrier & Elk River On30, 2 Truck Shay Steam Locomotive and it runs very slow on my auto-reversing track.   Other engines run about 10x's as fast.   Is this engine normally slow.   I do notice that different engines definately go different speeds on the auto-reversing track.   I am putting it on the Christmas trolley auto reversing set.   

Does anyone have experience with both
1. why such variance in speeds on this auto reversing Christmas set track
2. Why does the Shay go so slow?

   That is very cool!!!!   Thank you!!   How does this work?   Can I put a turnout on the track?  can it go back a forth through a turnout?   

I bought the "auto reversing" set.   I tried an engine I have.   It did not stop and reverse.   Is there a special train necessary?   does it have t obe a DCC engine?   Do I have to do something different?

The Village Street Car Set says it is auto-reversing.   I guess it goes end to end.  My question: Can you use any engine on an auto-reversing track?
