I love how I started the trend of making a warship diesel to match diesel 10's length, I've seen and heard that like 7 people have gotten the inspiration from me I'm glad to know that my ideas spread makes meh feel special :p :3
You don't know how big headed that makes you sound...
Looking good Stepney! Cannot wait to see you progress with this! Any chance of Dodge, Splatter and Lady afterwards?  ;D

He's basically the eldest brother of all the pacifics  ;D
There was one pacific before Gordon, called The Great Bear, built by the Great Western Railway, it was the first ever pacific in Britain, wasn't successful but lead the way for the other railway companies. She was rebuilt as a Great Western Castle and then sadly scrapped.

I am lucky enough to be able to get the Hornby tankers. The Tar, Tidmouth Milk, Sodor Fuel and Oil wagons are all the original ones still!

They could do with a new Spencer, i have looked at this and found it looks terrible! The hornby one is Streaks head! (no pun intended!)

They look similar because Duke is narrow gauge 4mm scale. S basically its the same scale just runs on n gauge track. The buildings that would be used with the 009 (narrow gauge) are the same as what you would use for the HO or OO gauge layouts.

That's epic news, cannot wait. :)

Hopefully once a product sample image is put up on the listings, we'll get to see what kind of face he will have.
And get to see how much we will have to pay for him! I reckon around the same as Diesel, so $85 which is around £46 for the UK people.

I haven't seen any of the very recent episodes but has Bo-Co been seen since his series 2 or 3? (maybe wrong there)
Duck, Oliver, Stepney plus some of the others hardly have anything these days, Hit ruined it with all these new characters. It was alright until after the series Spencer and Murdoch were introduced. Hank? Who's idea was that?! No need for massive American locos like that on an Island that is nearest to the UK than anywhere else! Awdry would be turning in his grave if he knew what had happened to his beloved Island of Sodor!

Regarding the bachmann GWR toad brakevan pictured on this thread, thats not a new model, its just a new identity. The model has been out for a while.
True - but Bachmann listed that model as new this year - there are a few different versions from the same molding.

By the way - Ratio has a 20 ton Toad kit that I intend to cut down to 16 tons, and a face from a Wooden Toad.

It was actually one of the 2011/12 releases announced in the range last March, it eventually came out just before Christmas.

I dont like Hank, Thomas has not been the same since HiT took over, the railway series is what i was into and since having characters such as the logging locos and Hank i feel it has got out of hand, since when would an A4 rub shoulders with a Shay? Its rediculous, least if it was stepney and spencer it could have happened in real life...

Over here in Britain, our National Railway Museum in York is planning a major event for 2013. Bringing together all 6 of the remaining London and North Eastern Railway A4 4-6-2 Pacifics for the 75th anniversary fo 4468 Mallard's 126mph steam world record. This includes borrowing 60008 Dwight D Eisenhower from the USA and 60010 Dominion of Canada from Canada. Nothing is set in stone, due to funds and availability etc but this could be the biggest event of 2013 in the UK, something that might not be reproduced again...
If the museums think it is fesable, the 2 overseas locos will be brought over for a short period of time which may even include some cosmetic restoration etc.
I will keep you informed if anyone is interested.
