Understand that using Peco Code 100 ON30 Electrfrog switches will require some modification to the underside of the switch for use on a DCC layout. Any tips on how you did that .

Looking for some good instructions on how to install the Peco On30 Electrofrog turnouts on a layout that will be DCC. I am aware that some modifications have to be made to the underside of these turnouts to prevent shorts. How do you go about doing that in a proper way ? Want to do it right the first time.

Have been musing about doing an On30 layout using Peco On30 track and turnouts instead of ME track and turnouts, although I have lots of ME turnouts and track. Turnouts with Peco seem a little more user friendly. Any thoughts on my musings ? Anyone else gone this route ?

Have not seen anything on this forum regarding structures from GC Laser. Any recommendations, comments on their products ? Always good to hear from someone who has built these structures before. Appreciate your feedback.

Probably asked many times before in this forum. Will bring the topic up again. What if any are effective ways to remove the factory lettering that is applied to Bachmann rolling stock ? Interested in all replies including those from the Bach Man !

Scroll down the page and click on Billmeyer & Small and you can view some great history on this car manufacturer. They made a lot of narrow gauge equipment . Enjoy the read. I did and in fact I bookmarked for future reference.

Does anyone have any back ground information of the origin and use of the 18 foot railway car and what type of car was used and for how long. Much appreciated.I don't believe this was an invention by Bachmann to entertains us who live in the world of On30. Know that British cars or goods wagons as they are called were shorter than our North American types. Have not seen any information regarding this on any forum to date.

Did check some other postings on another forum and saw that Tim Warris was involved in helping them sort out a back log of emails etc. I believe he is a respected member of the model railroad world. May give them a try.

To the Bach Man. I have a Bachmann passenger car in kit form so to speak in that all the parts are there in a disassembled state. It had no trucks . I purchased a set of your die cast passenger trucks ( Item # 29902 ) and want to install them to the bottom of the car, but I can't find any instructions anywhere on the package or your web site. Some hints would be very helpful. Thank you !

Thanks Ken. I purchased a kit form of a Bachmann passenger car some years ago and recently purchased a set of trucks for it. The car is in parts form now and just wondering the correct procedure for installing the trucks before further assembly. Good luck with your conversion.
