Geezer,

Mini Electronics has "Yellow Glow" LED which I have used as a replacment for the B-man yellow LEDs. They give a much better steam era head light glow that the really yellow B-man ones.

Barry,

I have one PRR version and it does not light up. I do not remember seeing any of them that did.

On30 / Re: tsunami decoder in On30 2-8-0

The 2-8-0 has an 8 pin socket but the Tsunami does not have a plug so you would have to do some work to get it installed.

Matt,

This engnine will look much better with the passenger cars from International hobbies http://www.interhobmodels.com/

As for the DCC instalation, on a lever from 1 to 10 10 being the hardest I would rate it a 9.

I did mine but it took some time. I used an MI decoder from TCS, I put it in the roof of the cab and ran the wires down the vertical pipe sticking up from the boiler in the cab.

Paul,

Check CV 29 bit 2 if you want to disable DC mode set it to 0 but please read the manual before setting CV 29 as it sets other important things.

I for one would buy 2 Mason bogies if they were the mid size 2-6-6T DSP&P. I am not modeling Colorado but free lancing in PA, I just like the loco's. Russian iron boiler, red cab, gold trim etc...

I agree,

Since I buy engines in 2's I would gladly pay $300~$400 for 2 4-4-0's if they are detailed and run like the B-mann 2-8-0's.

I do like the size and looks of the Rio Grand 4-4-0's but that extra $400 would buy a lot of steel hoppers that my RR is short of  ;D.

I hate to burst everyones bubble but I went to www.precisionscaleco.com and looked up the 4-4-0. It is listed in the HOn3 group and not the On3/On30. Unless I am mistaken this engine is not O but HO scale  ???

I did not find any listing for the 2-6-6-2 but that does not mean it is not coming.

SWNG lists both these engines at www.i-sng.com in On3 and On30, I will wait and see before getting excited.
