Thanks for the help gentlemen. Do I understand from your post that if I were to install it in the loco I would have problems with motor "noise" affecting the controls? I dont believe there is enough room left in the tenders after the sound board installs...HELP ???

Hello everyone - I used the search link but was unable to find anything helpful (may not have used the correct combo of keywords?)
I was lucky enough to find a used Aristo TE 27mhz.on board receiver. I want to install it in my mogul but would like some pointers/pictures or guidance. I have installed all of my own sound systems in my Spectrums so I hope it will not be too difficult, but I would like to hear from those of you who have installed them before in these locos so I might avoid mistakes. (It took me 2 years to find this unit - Yes, I am very excited!)
Thanks for your time, Trent Kaufman

Brian - Thanks for the great ride. My boys have watched it many, many, many (ok you get the point) times. Thanks for sharing. Trent

You are all awesome. This post is one of my 2 boys' favorites. All of the photos and kitbashing was wonderful. My 5 yo has been learning his loco names and I let him stew over these for a while before letting him in on the secret world of "kitbashing". YEP, he now wants to start cutting up some of his trains.....we will have to see. Thanks again to all. Trent

Large / Silk screen removal?
August 11, 2007, 10:55:28 PM
Hello everyone. I am looking for some help with removing the lettering/stripping from some of my passenger cars. I have repainted them and will be applying new decals for my sons new railroad. They are all numbered after his birth stats. ie: time, date, weight, length etc. MY problem comes with the loco/tender. I love the paint just as it is but need to remove the RGS silk screening. Is there a way, no matter how tedious, to do this without damage to Bachmanns beautiful paint? Thanks for any and all input. Trent
