As I responded by email... no reverse switch... your "new" loco is not new, and it never had the reversing switch.

Furthermore, after a long conversation with a friend, you would really have to do a lot of disassembly of the trucks to re-wire to reverse them, since the track pickups are wired directly to the motors internally.

Can you reverse your other loco?

36 ton shay please, many of them out there, but they are different, especially wiring and circuit boards

Interesting... preventing oxidation means there is a coating of some type on the rail. Have you noticed any reduction in electrical pickup?

swiffer... for cleaning...

if you are removing oxidation, something different...

if you are removing rust, something different.

here's about 20 years of experience:

you are missing the hatch where the 9v battery goes? The most commonly broken part..

there may be people printing these... I'm checking and will report back if I find it.

(I assume you went on the bachmann parts site and looked already)

Perhaps also download the parts/exploded diagrams from Bachmann to see how things go together, you would see the hubcaps and screws

actually you can run as many trains on a single or multiple layouts with the same transformer, you just need to think about the power required (estimate 2 amps per train with minimal grades) and of course the single contol will set the speed of ALL trains which MAY run at different speeds due to differences in locos, motors, rolling stock, curves, grades.

I see the other topic... focused on the socket.

What you are asking is for the pinout of the connectors between the loco and the tender...

Not sure that exists, definitely not published... but I sent you what I think the wiring is for the 2 connectors between the loco and the tender, with pins labelled 1-8 and A-H

Well, it does show the adapter board in the manual.
The user's manual shows the pin connections
so, if you use the adapter board, then you have the connections labelled...

Is it the same as the C19? Yep... is it the same as the K-27, well there were some where the chuff logic was inverted I believe...

But you have the 2-6-0, so that is immaterial..

Bachmann never sold a weathered loco.
