Yes the board is labeled its the wires that I need to know. I need to know which wire goes to the left track, which wire goes to the right track and so on so I can hook the correct wires up to the correct spot on the board.

Yeah this is ho Scale. The virus maybe affecting the email response. However, I spoke to them on the phone twice and was supposed to get a return call and never did. I've sent trains in before to be repaired and did not have any problems at all. I've ordered parts without any problems as well. Its only when I have to connect to a service technician that I have problems it seems. To be honest I have a lot of Bachmann items. I totally gave up on them with regards to their Williams line of O gauge trains because I found support lacking there. It will be extremely difficult to do that with my ho items because I have a pretty extensive collection. But if I cant fix it I can either send it in for repair, buy a new tender, wait until I find one on ebay to use for parts or junk it altogether and get another brand. Its my fault for not thinking about labeling the wires before I disconnected them. But I'll see if anyone knows what the pin outs are.

Hello everyone, I recently ordered a new tether for my Bachmann Sound Value Alco 2-6-0. I made the mistake of taking the existing tether with the broken wires off the soundtraxx board without noting where each wire goes on the board. The wires attach with simple clips no soldering needed. I need to find out what pin each wire in the tether harness goes to or find out what the pin outs are on the locomotive socket. I have contacted Bachmann directly both by telephone and by email and have not received any reply whatsoever by phone or email and have found this to be extremely unsatisfactory to say the least. May be someone on here will know the pin outs. Thank you.

I have a Digital DB150 Empire Builder DCC system. I can not program the locomotive number for the address of any of my Bachmann locomotives. Nothing works. I am positive that I am following the digitrax procedure correctly. All my Bachmann locomotives have the DCC on board decoder installed by Bachmann at the factory. Does anyone know what has to be done as an extra in order to program these locomotives on my system. Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone,
I have A Bachmann Spectrum HO Scale 2-6-6-2 and want to install a TCS dcc decoder in it. Does anyone know which decoder to get to run it in dcc? I have checked the TCS website and the 2-6-6-2 isn't listed on there. I have seen that it takes a NCE
D13SRP decoder, but I would rather install a TCS as I like their decoders better. Thanks.

HO / Bachmann driver wheel diameter
October 16, 2018, 02:41:00 PM
Hi everyone, does anyone know what the wheel diameter is for the HO scale Bachmann 2-6-2 Prairie? I want to get some traction wheels for this locomotive and need the wheel diameter to order them. I have tried 4 times now to put bull frog snot on the drivers without any such luck unless someone else has a better idea. Thanks everyone.

Hello Everyone,
I recently purchased a used Williams Southern Railway O gauge 4-6-2 at an auction. Upon getting my prize home, I found that it needed parts. I contacted Bachmann Parts Department to attempt to obtain the parts needed. They told me that the parts were not available and suggested I post it here. I am looking for the eccentric crank pin and fastener and the gear connecting rod foot pin and fastener. Does anyone know where I can obtain these parts or how to fix this locomotive if the parts are not available. Thanks.

HO / Bachmann DCC 2-6-0 HO Southern Railway
April 11, 2014, 09:42:37 AM
I can kick myself several times now for not getting one or picking one up on ebay when I saw them so few that was on there. Anyway, I want to know more about the Bachmann Southern Railway 2-6-0s. Are they so new that I am not seeing that many or are they discontinued and hard to find? Is Bachmann making more or not. Are they going to offer new roads? What is the Bachmann part number so I can do a seach on Google and try to locate one. So many 2-6-0 questions. Thanks.  :)

General Discussion / ez track turnouts
February 15, 2013, 11:07:34 AM
Hi, I have the bachmann ez track 28" radius and larger curves on my layout. I want to add a larger outside track.  What turnout do I need to get in order to do that? I dont think the standard 18" turnouts will work or will they? If they do not which turnout do I need to get. I have HO scale on a dc layout. Thanks.

Thanks Tom, is this the only thing I need to put sound in my K-4 or do I need any additional items? Thanks again.

Hi everyone, I want to know which sound module do I purchase if I want to install sound in a dcc equipped C&O K-4 2-8-4 I recently purchased. The web site does not list the 2-8-4 so I dont know if I need the Medium steam or the Large steam. Thanks for all the help! :-)

General Discussion / Re: EZ Track layout
March 15, 2012, 11:49:00 AM
Im thinking on using bachmann ez track parts #44509 and #44519. This will give me wide sweeping curves that I desire to operate on. I have some pretty big equipment and I want to make sure that they all can operate including my Bachmann Spectrum H-7 can operate without any problems. I have not made the bench work yet as I need to see which track pieces I need before I figure my layout size. If you could also provide me with the layout size based on the track pieces that also would be helpful. Thanks!  :)

General Discussion / EZ Track layout
March 15, 2012, 10:24:05 AM
I am interested in starting a layout using ez track since I need wide sweeping curves in order to operate my larger articulated locomotives. Im starting out with a simple elongated oval with straights on the sides and at the ends which I may want to replace at a later date with switches to expand it. how many pieces do I need to accomplish this task.
