How tight a curve can I use with these engines?

Cleared brush from my layout last week and most of my track is gone.

I'll be starting on my 5 by 10 HO layout soon, should I sand the Homosote.
What size switch should I use running a Bachman 2-8-2.  I also have a Bigboy.  I have a lot of # 4.

Is that single ties or tie sections?  I couldn't fine them on line.

I have to replace ties on 500 ft.

See you in March

Where can I buy Bachmann ties and track.  Returning to G Scale and I need to replace a lot of ties.

Sorry, I didn't think asking about the different companies.

I have a bunch of Bachmann Engines that haven't been used.  My G Scale rr has not been used for 6 years, because of age and knees.  I hope to get it going soon.

The Piko and the LGB look alike are they the same engine.  Do the Piko have a lot of detail

I didn't know about sound.  I have never installed a sound card.
I have G Scale with sound, I guess I just never thought about it.
I have 3 main lines in front of my house. I almost never hear the engine because of noise from the wheels, with a toot thrown in once in awhile.

Thanks, I'll forget the smoke. I have sound in several G Scale engines and after running several hours, they get on your last nerve.
I traded an RC Heli for 16 HO train engines all Santa Fe. A couple friends are building a 5 by 10 layout. The plywood top is done and we're going to put Homosote on top of that.  Seems like a little over kill.
Running HO will be much easier on me that being outside when it's hot.  I think I should add, there's 5 inches of snow right now.
Thanks

Does this engine smoke?

Can sound be installed in it.

Where would I buy a smoke or sound unit for it,

I have one, but the boss of the house doesn't know about it yet.

Can the smoke deflectors be removed from Bachmann's Niagara?
Local shop has one, with the EARS.....

It's a sad day, I just got an email from Aristocraft. They are closing their doors 12-31-2013.
I know they will be missed.

If you decide to lay your track on the ground, don't use PEA Gravel. The round smooth gravel doesn't work well.

I haven't tried battery power yet, I hope to soon. I have rc planes flying with batteries that I ordered from Hobby King.
Batteries that cost $79.99 three years ago,are now $7.00 when on sale.
I have major work to do on my layout, after 3 years of NOT running.
