As I am operating both DC (Bachmann + LGB) and Maerklin AC I wonder if the Speed Controller No 44213 (from Bachmann much better than the simpel one from LGB) can take the input of AC 20 V and 2 A ? I now uses a LGB transformer 14 VDC and 850 mA that works OK for singel trains. I would hate to ruin the Bachmann speed Controller with to high Voltage input. Do anyone know?

You are right about my Shay as a # 36 (i didnt know that there were any 36). I have the original box and there I find the nr 36. (81198)
The better spare-trucks, would that be # 88999 at Trainworld for US$110?
If not, where can i get the trucks you mention?

I bought a 38 Ton Two-Truck Shay (from 1997?) unused, OVP, but the Power Trucks had britteled plastic and broken train-wheel-Axel Cog wheel.
What should I do?
