On30 / Re: Another Heisler question
April 02, 2013, 01:31:59 PM
I drilled it, the metal was much easier to drill than I expected. I used a #75 drill(.021") in a pin vise. The coupler is secured with .020 wire. Works great

On30 / Another Heisler question
March 18, 2013, 11:24:32 AM
All of the previous geared locomotives (Shay, Climax) have the coupler pocket drilled and a pin supplied so that it is easy to change the coupler height (On3), Why not the Heisler?

Amen to the 3 cylinder shay suggestion.

Definitely want a 3 cylinder shay. The one Bachmann made in large scale would be perfect as far as I am concerned.

Dear Dusten,
I already said I'd post the first quarter releases this week. Anything beyond that, whether I know the answer or not, will not be posted. Sometimes I know (indeed, sometimes I'm actually building the item) and sometimes I don't, but I'm not going to tell you until it's time. There are many requested items; we can only do so many each year. Nagging won't change anything.
Have fun!
the Bach-man
This week ends in 20 minutes and I still have not seen any list of On30 new product announcements?????? What happened??
