Many thanks to LOCO BILL for giving us an update on this large problem that BACHMANN have with supply,,Why couldnt  they have let us know this thru their own forum?  Also why havnt they used the resources of NWSL to keep us their customers and future purchasers of their products on track, I also have a K27 and what future episodes will I have with it? How many CONNIES (all over the world) are patiently waiting for their CREATOR to give a new lease of life?  GRAHAM (australia)

Hi All,, I have been patiently watching the spares site for four months and dont miss a day in case the axel and brass gear sell too quickly, I see that BACHMANN have listed the best selling part for the CONNIE is the AXEL & BRASS GEAR,,strange as this part has been out of stock for six months,,, Loco Bill says send the loco back to BACHMANN but Im in AUSTRALIA and postage cost there and back is well over $200, so I like most other people around the world have a great loco on display only,, I now have a SHAY that is having drive shaft problems and see the parts i need are out of stock so Ill sit and wait for them too.  Hi everybody, I think its about time BACHMANN introduced in their lineup a better quality track that at least will accomodate their K27 and 2-66-2 ,of course then the people that use their track inside would be able to update then buy and operate a SPECTRUM type loco.  GRAHAM from downunder..

HI ALL,couplings are a problem if you run different brands of locos,I only have Bachmann carrages and with four different brands of locos I have four seperate carrages ,each with a Bachmann coupler one end and a Aristo, USA,MTH and Spectrum each on the other ends. I dont have any misshaps with these combinations.. GRAYFITZ.(Australia)

Large / Re: K27 counterweights
April 22, 2010, 06:43:19 AM
Thanks TONY, There are wipers on the tender axels. I have compared the old weights I took off the first K27 to the ones on this loco ,they are the same,ie the width of the spacer  on the back of the weight is the most noticable difference,I think to be sure I should get a new set. regards GRAHAM.

Hi Mr BACH MAN,The begining of this topic I asked you about whether my new and second K27 had the mod counterweights. Today is the first chance due to moving house that I have had  to  inspect my loco upside down. The dot on the box is not an indicator as I was surprised to see the old type counterweights on with a lot of slop.I did replace the weights on my first k27 so I did know what to look for. I hope the service spare part dept still has replacements, Should I send an email requesting a set, if so which is the quickest way to order, GRAHAM (Australia)
