I have a Bachmann Spectrum N81467 EMC Electric Doodlebug with coach Boston & Maine, and I am trying to find a list of cv's for this DCC equipped unit. Not knowing what decoder system is in it I just don't want to start changing CV's   Thank you

I have just purchased a Bachmann N-scale SD-45 Diesel / DCC ready item #82760 Dcc ready my question is who makes a decoder for this engine. Digitrax does not list one, TCS also does not, Does anyone know what Decoder fits in this engine, I am assuming that the board in the engine has to be replaced.  Thank You ???

HO / Engine/tender connection 4-8-4 Niagara
March 16, 2015, 06:55:57 PM
While trying to get my tender apart to get at the electronics, some of the wires have come disconnected with the little brown connecters, how do they work, is the wire held in by pressure or are they soldered, wire and connecter seam to small and fragile to solder, any thoughts. Also after getting the tenders ends off of my Niagara I still can't get the board out is there something else I am missing.  GEM

HO / Re: Tender for a 4-8-4 Niagara

Thank you guys, I was able to get both ends off of the tender but the board still will not slide out, only other screws I see are the little ones that hold the truck contacts to the bottom of the tender. Also when the front of the tender came off one of the wires from the engine connector came off, are these wires pressure fitted in the connector or are they soldered, seam awful small to solder.  Thank You GEM.
