as many of you, the athearn genesis pacific is being re-released (with MANY problems fixed) from roundhouse trains, it was initially supposed to be released in june 2008 (correct me if im wrong), its now due to be out late march 2010, WHATS GOING ON HERE?

the passenger cars may be tough to find a diagram though...

im terrible at finding the problems (i usually cause the problems), but i think knowing a little more about the engine may be necessary to find the root of the problem

Ok, I want to know all i can on item 84113, the k4 pre-war dcc-ready. how is the quality? can it pull 7 athearn passenger cars (with weights installed) without a problem (aka slippage)? mechanical problems that are brought up with other items that the k4 never seems to have, are there any? about how fast (in scale mph) can it get up to? give me every good AND bad detail you can come up with, i have a light-mountain that i love, and another spectrum would be an excellent addition, so i want to know all i can before making the purchase

try it plugged in the other way, hole #1 may be marked, but its possible it was marked wrong

the wilsons is 109 feet, i think im gonna keep it in mind, im going to wait to order a turntable until my b-day in june

im fine with construing one, I just dont want to have to scratch build (or it be a huge hassle to have running great)

again, minimum of 120 scale feet, and I am never in a mood for a major modification (or scratch built), read the original post to understand what i mean
