Shoot, I didn't see that when looking at that page on my phone.  It's a stretch, but maybe try contacting the larger stores like Trainworld and MB Klein to see if they had one returned and kept it as a parts source?

They're $11 in the online parts store.   Why not just buy one from there?

I know how you feel!  Just the other day I contacted Chevy about a part for my 1988 Nova and they said they no longer had parts that were that old.  Unbelieveable!

Today's kids are for more savvy than a paper catalog inside a toy box under the tree.  Today they look up the name of the company, go online, and search their online catalog.

Paper catalogs may have been exciting 50 years ago, but that concept doesn't work today.

So you bought an out of production locomotive that was damaged in shipping from a vendor, and this is Bachamnn's fault?  Manufacturers cannot be expected to maintain parts forever.  Would you complain that your local Chevy dealer doesn't have a fender for a 72 Vette in stock?

Try to fix the shell yourself, or have a parent help you ship it back to the vendor for a refund.
